• Are Offered Twice a Week: Tuesdays 1:15-2:15 p.m. &
Wednesdays 2:00-3:00 p.m.
• Are Open to WSUV Students, Staff, and Faculty.

9/8 & 9/9 – Basic Parts of Speech & Writing Conventions
9/15 & 9/16 – Simple Sentences
9/22 & 9/23 – Compound Sentences & Use of Coordinating Words
9/29 & 9/30 – Complex Sentences & Use of Subordinating Words
10/6 & 10/7 – Recognizing & Fixing Sentence Fragments
10/13 & 10/14 – Recognizing & Fixing “Run-on” Sentences
10/20 & 10/21 – Using Parallel Structure for Clarity
10/27 & 10/28 – Subject/Verb Agreement & Verb Tenses
11/3 & 11/4 – Commas, Semicolons, Colons, Dashes, etc.
11/10 – Agreement & Reference: Nouns and Pronouns
11/17 & 11/18 – Plurals vs. Possessives, Modifiers, Word Choices, etc.
